Good news: we barely use cookies. Here’s exactly what does get set, by whom, and how to control it.

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information. This page explains the (very limited) cookies and similar technologies used on https://cuisinety.com.
1. Our own cookies: none
Cuisinety does not set any of its own cookies. Browsing recipes, browsing categories, and printing recipes all work without cookies and without tracking.
2. Analytics: cookieless by design
We measure site traffic with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that works without cookies. Plausible counts page views and referrers in aggregate and does not identify visitors, create profiles, or follow you across other websites. 3. Amazon affiliate cookies
When you click an affiliate link to Amazon.com (for example, in the “Equipment I Used” box on a recipe page),Amazon sets its own cookies on your device to remember that you arrived from Cuisinety. This is how purchases made shortly after your click earn us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Key points:
- These cookies are set by Amazon under Amazon’s own privacy policy, not by us;
- They are only set when you voluntarily click an affiliate link;
- They typically last around 24 hours (or 90 days if you place an item in your cart);
- We cannot read these cookies and have no access to your Amazon account or purchases.

4. Newsletter
Emails from our newsletter may contain standard tracking (such as a read receipt pixel) that tells us roughly how many readers opened an issue. If you want fully private reading, you can disable image loading in your email client — you will still get every recipe.
5. How to control cookies
Every modern browser lets you review, block, or delete cookies — look in your browser’s privacy or security settings for “Cookies and site data.” Since our own site sets no cookies, blocking them only affects third-party cookies like Amazon’s, and the site will work perfectly well with all cookies blocked. Private/incognito browsing also prevents cookies from persisting after your session.
6. Changes to this policy
If our cookie usage ever changes, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
