About Cuisinety

Real recipes for real home cooks — no food-science degrees required.

Our mission

Cuisinety was born from a simple belief: cooking should not feel like homework. Most recipe sites pile on fluff — long stories before the instructions, ingredient lists that send you to three stores, and techniques that sound impressive but rarely work on a Tuesday night.

We do the opposite. Every recipe on this site is built to be straightforward, uses everyday ingredients, and fits into your real life. Whether you have 30 minutes or a lazy Sunday afternoon, you will find something here that works — from one-pan weeknight dinners to slow-cooked Moroccan tagines that are easier than they look.

What you’ll find here

  • Tested, dependable recipes with clear step-by-step instructions, honest timings, and realistic serving sizes.
  • Practical answers — substitution ideas, troubleshooting FAQs, and storage tips on every recipe.
  • Food from many tables — Moroccan, American, and everything in between, chosen because they taste good, not because they are trendy.
  • Zero gatekeeping. If a shortcut works, we say so. If it doesn’t, we tell you that too.

Our editorial standards

Every recipe published on Cuisinety is cooked in our own kitchen, at least twice, before it earns a page here. Ingredients are measured the way you measure at home (by cups and spoons, with gram weights where precision matters). Photos show the dish as it actually comes out of our oven — not a styled shoot from a studio. When something is tricky, we say so in the tips; when a store-bought shortcut beats the homemade version, we tell you that as well. If we ever feature a product or a paid collaboration, it is clearly labeled.

Meet Amira

Hi, I’m Amira. I grew up in a Moroccan kitchen where the tagine was always on and a pinch of this was a measurement, and I spent a decade learning to translate that kind of intuitive cooking into recipes anyone can follow. I trained in professional kitchens, then came back to the home cook’s side of the counter: I write and test every recipe on this site, and I cook everything at least twice before sharing it.

Cuisinety is my way of answering the question I get asked most:“What should I actually make tonight?”

How this site is funded

Cuisinety is supported entirely by readers like you. Some of the links you will find in our recipes — especially in the “Equipment I Used” sections — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is what keeps the site free and independent. We only recommend products we actually use and believe in; your trust matters more than any commission. You can read the full details in ourAffiliate Disclosure and ourPrivacy Policy.

Work with me

Brands, editors, and fellow food people: I’m open to sponsored posts (always disclosed), recipe development, product testing, and photography collaborations — as long as they genuinely fit this kitchen. If that sounds like you, drop me a line athey@cuisinety.com and tell me what you’re dreaming up.

Not a brand? That’s even better. Questions, feedback, and requests go to the same place, and I reply to every message. See thecontact page.
